One of our Kimberley Cranbrook Food Network members, Cranbrook Urban Farm, is currently hiring for two hydroponic farm positions (and they are looking to fill these positions by February 5th)!

🌿 Urban Hydroponic Farm Manager
Full-time | 35 hours per week
This role is ideal for someone ready to take a leadership position in a growing urban farm operation. The Farm Manager oversees daily hydroponic farm operations while also supporting volunteers, strengthening community connections, and helping grow the farm as a social enterprise.

Looking to fill position by: February 5, 2026
Pay: $21–$25 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week
Benefits: After a successful 3-month probation period, eligibility for extended health benefits and MPP
This position blends practical farm work (planting, harvesting, packaging, equipment maintenance) with coordination, planning, outreach, and collaboration. It’s well suited to someone who enjoys juggling hands-on work with relationship-building, organization, and community engagement
🌱 Urban Hydroponic Assistant Farm Manager
Part-time | 9–19 hours per week
This role supports all aspects of the hydroponic farm and is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in urban food production while contributing to a community-driven project.

Hours: 9–19 hours per week
The Assistant Farm Manager supports daily farm operations, helps with sales and distribution, works alongside volunteers, and participates in community outreach such as farm tours and workshops. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys learning, teamwork, and being part of a purpose-driven food project.
