About the event
Local youth are invited to take part in a hands-on tea harvest workshop at the Kimberley Community Garden.
Guided by Ashley Lortscher, participants will learn how to identify and harvest herbs growing in the garden before travelling to Lee’s Café to dehydrate the herbs and make tea together.
The tea will then be served during the Spark Society’s Tuesday Tea Social — a recurring community gathering that is free for seniors to attend.
This workshop offers a chance for youth to connect with gardening, food skills, and community through a fun and interactive local food experience.
