About the event
Celebrate Earth Day by spending some time in the garden 🌱
Join Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook for a free, drop-in open house at the Kimberley Community Garden on Rotary Drive. This is a great chance to explore the space, learn how it operates, and connect with others interested in growing food locally.
Wildsight Food Program Coordinator Ashley Lortscher will be offering guided tours of the demonstration garden, sharing how the space supports hands-on learning and helps build skills for growing food at home.
If you’re feeling keen to get involved, you can also roll up your sleeves and join the “Worker Bees” — helping get the garden ready for the season ahead. No experience needed.
Whether you come to explore or to dig in, it’s a simple and meaningful way to enjoy the outdoors and celebrate Earth Day in community.
