About the event
Join Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook for a community apple picking event as part of the annual Apple Capture program!
Apple Capture brings community members together to harvest the abundance of fruit growing around Kimberley, helping keep local apples from going to waste or becoming wildlife attractants.
Participants will meet at Wildsight's Kimberley Community Garden (on Rotary, just passed the Aquatic Centre) before heading out to selected apple trees around Kimberley for the day's harvest. Come prepared for the outdoors and bring a box, cooler, or reusable bag if you'd like to take some apples home.
These family-friendly events are a great opportunity to meet others, share in the harvest, and support local food sustainability.
