About the event
Join the Cranbrook Public Produce Garden for a Plant Swap and Sale + Seed Saving Workshop on Saturday, September 26th—an afternoon of sharing plants, learning new skills, and preparing for future growing seasons in our local climate!
Starting at noon, the seed-saving workshop will cover the basics of planning for a successful seed harvest, growing plants for seed, collecting and cleaning seeds, and storing them for future use.
The event will also feature plant divisions, perennial seedlings, seeds for fall planting, and refreshments.
Have plants you'd like to share? You're encouraged to bring them early or drop them off at the Cranbrook Public Produce Garden before Saturday.
Come learn, swap, share, and connect with other local growers while helping keep seeds, plants, and growing knowledge circulating throughout our interconnected communities!
