About the event
🌿 Mark your calendars for this upcoming Sunday (February 22nd) to come join us in "CommuniTEA" at Centre 64 for an interconnective evening of watching the award-winning Tea Creek documentary together and networking with local food system folks!
Hosted by Strawberries and Sweetgrass Indigenous Food Systems, Farm to Cafeteria Canada, and fellow KCFN members (with support from United Way BC), this free event is an opportunity to gather, learn, and reflect on the important work of advancing Indigenous Food Sovereignty and strengthening local food security — and the challenges that come with sustaining those efforts.
The evening will include:
🍵 Tea & snacks catered by Healthy Kimberley Food Recovery
🌱 A mini-Seedy Sunday (including the first 2026 appearance of the Kimberley Seed Library!)
🤝 Time to mingle with fellow local-food-minded folks
