About the event

Spring is on the horizon — and there’s no better way to get ready for the growing season than by gathering with fellow gardeners at this year’s Kimberley Seedy Saturday!

Seedy Saturday is an event that encourages local seed exchanging, sharing education about seed saving & seed starting, environmentally responsible gardening practices, and learning more about gardening in Kimberley's unique climate. Whether you’re a gardening pro or just starting to get your hands dirty, there is much to be shared — so join us to plan for the upcoming growing season and to connect, exchange, and learn.

This free, family-friendly gathering of gardeners is hosted by the Lindsay Park Elementary School Garden Club in partnership the the Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy, Kimberley Edible Gardens and Greenhouse, and Wildsight Kimberley Cranbrook's Ashley Lortscher, Food Program Coordinator for the Kimberley Community Garden and Wildsight's Backyard Farmers Project.
